Downloading/Installing Office Apps on Your Computer


All OBU students get a free copy of the standard Microsoft Office365 apps to install on your personal devices. To download and install the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel...) onto your personal computer, please follow the steps below:


  1. Login to your OBU email by going to http://email.okbu.edu/ (or selecting the email link from the OBU website).

  2. Type your OBU email and click next.

  3. Insert you OBU Email and Email Password in the indicated fields and click Sign In.

    Username = Email address [first name].[last name]@okbu.edu
    Default Password = ID number + date of birth [mmddyy]
  4.  Click on Install Office at the top right of the page.
  5. Select Office 365 Apps to start downloading the installer.
  6. You'll see an instruction box pop up with details about how to complete the installation.
  7. Once you have installed Office, you will need to sign in with your OBU email credentials.
